Preparing a match
Under the score, the match page gives your club what it needs to prepare the game: the presence sheet, the match sheet, the line-up and the opponent's stats. All of it stays between the club's members: the opponent sees none of it.
The presence sheet
The club's staff (captain and sub-captains) opens a match's presence sheet. Each player then gets a single notification asking whether they will be there. Opening the sheet again asks nobody.
- Each player answers for themselves: Available, Maybe or Absent. They can change their mind or take their answer back.
- The staff can answer for any player, including one added by hand without an IFC account.
- The sheet covers the whole day (Paris time): one answer covers every match the club plays that day, for example a tournament over the day, a league night or two friendlies.
- It closes once every match of the day has its score.
The Presence shortcut on the home lists the sheets the club opened: the coming days first, then the past ones, with where the answers stand.
The match sheet
The staff calls up the day's players among those who are not absent. The Create the match sheet button, at the top of the presence sheet, opens it directly. The ticks stay a draft until Send the call-up, at the bottom of the screen: each called-up player is then notified. A change after it went out is sent with Update the call-up: only the players added or removed are told.
- a player who answered Absent cannot be called up;
- a player already called up who then answers Absent comes off the sheet on their own;
- like the presence, the match sheet covers the whole day.
Once the sheet is filled, each match's lineup is picked among the called-up players, listed with those who will be there first.
One line-up for the whole day
From the home's New button (staff only), pick an upcoming match to open its presence sheet, its match sheet or its line-up. A day of several matches is picked as one:
- the line-up is saved on every match of the day that can still be composed;
- a match already played, or whose roster is locked, keeps its own;
- this line-up also becomes the club's default line-up, so a match drawn later (a knockout round) starts from it.
The opponent's stats
For an opponent on IFC, the match page shows:
| Block | Content |
|---|---|
| Their form | Their last 5 matches, of every kind, with the score |
| ELO 7 d | What their matches of the last 7 days moved |
| Against you | Your record against them and your last scores |
The home shows these figures in the Next opponent card, above the calendar.
Rivals and standings
The Communities tab starts with your club against the others:
- your rivalries: the 5 clubs you have played most, your record against each and your last score;
- your place in each of your communities, with the two clubs above and the two below.
A friendly against a club that is not on IFC counts in your club's form, but not in the rivals or in a head to head: there is no club to compare.
